The aromatic red cedar (Juniperus virginiana) also called pencil cedar or virginic red cedar is the largest plant of the genus juniper. Home and origin are parts of the east coast of North America. Due to its special properties cedar wood is able to absorb moisture from the shoe, while the essential oils exude a pleasant fragrance and deodorize the shoe in a natural way.
